Applications:
Preparing metal surfaces before joining rubber and metal by means of REMA TIP TOP SC 2000 or BC 3000 or SC 4000.
Application procedures:
• Derust the metal surface by grit blasting (DIN EN ISO 12944-4, SA 2,5) or by grinding, and buff it - recommended grinding depth: 30 μm.
• Avoid the temperature falling below the dew point! - Remove grease from the cleaned surface area with TIP TOP cleaner, if necessary.
• Immediately apply one coat of well mixed METAL PRIMER PR 200 to the dry metal surface.
• Allow the coating to dry completely (at least for 1 hour).
•Then bond the rubber and the metal together using SC 2000 or BC 3000 or SC 4000.
